Hello I was wondering if their is any other type of leg attacks for competition mma/muay thai? Instead of the inside leg kick of rear thai kick, what else?
What do yous think about the sidekick to the thigh also?
Just looking for more attacks to the leg
Thank you

first off if you are a competitor you have a coach who will tell you what you need to do. Have faith and you will be okay. The most important part is going to be going out and competing with faith.,

Anyway, if not the side kicks and stomps to legs are good if you have GREAT defense finesse etc but he will stomp your knees back. It is damaging and risky.

Just listen to coach imo, or if not formally trained go get formal training.

There is also the downward angled kick (stomp if you will) to the top of the opponents knee If done hard enough, it can cause serious damage. Or it can be used to keep range. Like any tactic though, it can leave you vulnerable.

Something that is regularly neglected in MMA are elbows to the thighs when on the mat. The point of the elbow does a great deal of damage to large muscle groups, as it can penetrate the thick muscle fibers and hit the tender under tissue. It's something that can be used from top half guard if you're locked down and will hamper mobility, especially if you're rifling it into the top of the thigh.

nice! I always thought elbows to the body like rampage vs chuck were underused but that is great

i just started thai sparring again and i can tell you a well placed T front kick (either leg) can cause some pain or completey knock your opponent on their ass as they come in fast.
