I don't like that fight for coture, well I don't really like that fight for anyone, no one can seem to hurt the guy.

UFC IS TALKING ABOUT BRINGING IN SOME "BIG" name fighters. The biggest named fighter they could get is Fedor. It would be one hella good fight to see Fedor/ Natural... I believe Fedor would win, the only two questions I would have is, Can Randy beat Gonzaga? And how will Fedor cope with the Cage?? I do so hope to see the fight you mentioned!!

He has stated in interviews that he has experience fighting in both cages and rings and says it makes absolutely no difference to him.
Clearly he's a robot.

If Couture gets past Gonzaga, and the UFC can get Fedor on board, then most likely.

Ill be surprised if he does beat gonzaga, thats the exact type of fighter that made him drop to lhw.

Well, nobody except Fujita, but that didnt last long. lol. Even Randleman tried to cripple him (not really) and it was only a minor inconvenience to him.

I agree I do not like that fight for Randy(the Fedor fight) Fedor in my mind would just pound the hell out of Randy...I do see Randy beating Gonzaga he will be really tough to beat though Gonzage is no Tim Sylvia haha

Although Randy is one of my favorite fighters, Fedor would take this. He's too well rounded and Randy's problem at HW is that he can't handle guys that are bigger than him and can wrestle just as good as him. Fedor might not be on the exact same level with his wrestling, but I can guarantee you he can avoid Randy's takedowns from the clinch, which is his bread and butter. His Sambo background really gives him excellent takedowns and defense.
And if Randy is on the bottom of that ground and pound. It will be a short night for him.

I think Gonzaga will win... the dude is just so much larger than Randy. That and his BJJ blackbelt spell a bad night for the natural in my mind. Never count the guy out though, he's a smart fighter and if he can find holes in Gonzaga's game that he can exploit he could definitely win it.

I'm not so much worried about the BJJ black belt portion of Gonzaga's game. I think if Randy can put him on his back, he can win the fight. The problem is that I think Gonzaga has really developed his striking game. He displayed awesome footwork against Cro Cop and really kept him off balance with his crisp, straight punches. If Randy can get inside and utilize the clinch and dirty boxing, eventually secure the takedown, he takes it. If he has trouble getting the fight to the ground, or ends up getting taken down by Gonzaga, he's going to be in real trouble. Randy off his back is not so great either.

It is true that no one can hurt fedor but he did get beaten by coleman in pride... but for a lousy fall and braking of the arm. truely i think that corture can take fedor if he gets him to the ground quik enough. the hard part is keeping him there, hes famous for scrambling out from the ground like chuck.
