I am writing this letter to inform you that as a result of my last loss, I was cut from the UFC. My next fight will be in Hammond, Indiana for Titan Fighting Championship on November the 2nd. I am excited to continue fighting, to regain my focus and to get back to what made me a champion. A special thank you to my manager, Glenn Robinson, my trainer, Firas Zahabi, my training partners, and all the staff at the UFC. I have dedicated my whole life to mixed martial arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. From teaching, to training, and fighting from the lowest to the highest levels, my passion in life is to be the best that I can be. Until November 2nd…

That was premature by the UFC, no? 2-2 in the UFC.

He probably has been on Dana's blacklist since the rape van comment.

He probably gets paid a lot depending on when his last contract was signed.

If he wins his next fight and takes a lower per fight salary I expect to see him back in the UFC before too long.

Guess he's in trouble again. He's only lost to top talent.

Aside from whether it.was a premature cut by the UFC, it was a good pickup for Titan Fighting. Him and Rumble should get some interest drummed up. I'll be watching

Miguel Torres -- $56,000 (including $28,000 win bonus) def. Antonio Banuelos -- $9,000
Demetrious Johnson: $6,000 ($6,000) def. Miguel Torres: $30,000
Miguel Torres: $60,000 (includes $30,000 win bonus) def. Nick Pace: $4,000
Michael McDonald ($8,000 + $8,000 = $16,000) def. Miguel Torres ($32,000)

Not the highest disclosed payout for all fighters, but it's pretty substantial right now for that particular division. I would imagine you are dead on about this.

and so why did they wait like 4 months to cut him?

My guess was to see what direction the division was going.

Maybe Edgar moving down had something to do with it

However I can't think of a reason why those two things would be related
