Miesha Tate hopes that a win over Julie Kedzie can propel her right back into another shot at the Strikeforce bantamweight title that she once held. If, for some reason, a possible coaching position on The Ultimate Fighter also came with it, that would be fine with Tate.

Tate and Kedzie will highlight the prelim card for tonight's Strikeforce: Rousey Vs. Kaufman event on Showtime. The prelims air on Showtime Extreme from San Diego.

"I love it," said Tate, of coaching on TUF opposite Strikeforce bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, during a recent appearance on MMAWeekly Radio. "I think that would be the fight to put on it if they were going to do that. It doesn't get any better than Ronda and I; two ladies who honestly have a rival between each other."

I would be all for it if Strikeforce's future wasn't in doubt all the time. It would drum up interest in WMMA and I'm all for that as well. But since we're not sure what's going on I'd say this won't happen

Not trying to knock on this but, the women dont even fight in the UFC so no way they would get to coach TUF. Especially when TUF is struggling for ratings and looks to put it's top champs as coaches.

it's not going to happen. with that said, i am disapointed to hear that with one win tate will be fighting for the same title. this division is way to shallow for the big show.

If it was a women's season, I could see them coaching that.

It would be a good way of introducing WMMA into the UFC aswell.

I'm a big fan of WMMA so I think it'd be great, but no way do I see it happening.

The UFC needs to bring women into the fold. I have always said that a female version of TUF would be a great way to get fans interested and to also get some woman's fighters rounded up. I say let Tate and Rousey do it....but they should be coaching females not males. I think it would improve the ratings.
