i'm just happy to know that the next lw title shot won't involve frankie edgar.

Again, judging has gotten out of hand. I'll go ahead because God knows that horse isn't tender enough yet.

I would say thank god no rematch for the LW title.

Close fight, neither dominated or did much and not a great fight either.

i thought edgar won that fight, but i do agree, i dont want to see edgar in a title fight for a while. i have seen enough rematches at LW. bendo vs diaz is gonna be sick. the one thing we know is diaz comes to end fights. we all expected this rematch to go to a decision. hopefully the next one is more exciting.

that was a tough fight to score, i tipped henderson but only gave him rounds 1 and 3, and 2,4 and 5 to edgar. could have easily gone either way and don't think there would have been controversy if edgar had won.

much rather watch benson vs diaz rather than edgar vs diaz...edgar takes diaz down all day.

This wouldn't make the list of the top 100 most controversial decisions in MMA history.

Looking at the Fightmetric stats Edgar probably did deserve the decision but the difference in shots landed was only 3 in favor of Edgar and he didn't do much with either takedown. Henderson was slightly more accurate, and was controlling the center of the Octagon for most of the fight.

Much closer fight than the first

I had Benson winning the 1st, Edgar taking the 2nd & 5th

The others were too close

Could you please list only 50 decisions closer than this one

Maybe now we will see him at FW. Not that he HAS to, but it would be nice to see him fight guys closer to his own size.

I think you missed my point...I was saying its not controversial because of how close it was. To me a controversial decision is one like Garcia vs Phan or Shields v Kampmann where one person clearly won the fight and somehow the decision went the other way.

Ah gotcha. Hope I didn't come off as a jerk.

Honestly thought, I didn't agree with the decision. It being a title fight, I see the controversy.

Enjoy the victory young jedi Obi-won Benobi - - - cuz a gangster from Stockton is counting down the days until he beats you down for your 8 ounces of tin.

It is controversial because it invites criticism. It is doubly controversial because the debate has at least two valid sides. Most people feel that it was a tough fight to call (as opposed to the standard "that was the robbery of the century). I get your point though; I think it just boils down to word choice.

Your comparison to Shields vs. Kampmann is spot on; there was no obvious winner in that fight.

hi first time poster...

it went 50 50 to me. although it may look Edger had the edge, he didnt win it convincingly enough to me. thats how a challenger should win imo
