After another successful season of the UFC Point Challenge Side Game we will launch a new season that runs the length of the next season of UFC events on the site.
Basically its a player v player betting challenge in which each member has $100 to start and can post challenges or propositions of any kind prior to a ufc event and the first opposing player to accept the challenge is locked in. The value of the bet is negotiable within a $5 to $20 range for each bet.
For example prior to UFC 145 I could post the following challenges:
- Jones beats Rashad ($15)
- Hominick v Yagin ends in the 1st half of the fight ($10)
- UFC 145 will include less than 6 decisions ($10)
- etc
Then once posted any other player could accept a challenge or attempt to alter or renegotiate one of my challenges as well as post their own...
"Player A" posts:
"In response to trevail's post, Ill take Evans over Jones for $15 (*CONFIRMED) and would do less than 6 decisions for $5 instead of $10?"
By adding the (*Confirmed) it will make it easier for me to track bets and keep score after each event. If you lose all your bank roll you are eliminated and who ever has the largest bankroll at the end of the season is the champ. Also, prior to each event we will set up pool bets (max $5 per entry) in which all players are able to enter with the person guessing the closest taking home the entire pot.
Pool Bet Example:
With out going over, how long will the shortest fight of UFC 145 be?
- possible answers: 12 seconds, 1 minute 3 seconds etc..........
Also to encourage continous play, all players who make atleast one bet for an event will recieve a $10 bonus after the event and in contrast anyone who did not contribute will pay a $10 penalty.
The game will be limited to the first 8 players that join and all confirmed bets are considered final unless the fight changes or is cancelled.

The only suggestion I would make is I wouldnt have a limit on how many people play. Other then that dont change any thing, this is a great game.
