Machida Vs Chael,I know Chael talked some shit on him awhile back "that karate guy".

This

lets get Chael and Lyoto in the cage together and see who takes it. Chael was talking bad about Lyoto and Lyoto wants an interesting fight. Look no further, there is one in Chael

Silva whined when Wandy moved to MW lol. Its cool now cause Anderson knows he is at the end of his career. But Machida would be a contender at MW.

I wouldnt pick a right handed fighter to have much success taking Machida down. Anderson and Machida are both southpaws that use distance to boost their TDD, and Anderson with his sub-par wrestling still stuffs 90% of orthodox fighters shoot-ins. Orthodox fighters have an increased distance between the hips of their opponent when they fight southpaws. Machida has great TDD on top of the distance he puts between his him and his opponent. It's going to take a Jon Jones or a Southpaw to get anywhere near taking Machida down. Weidman can't do it.

I'm not sure how Machida would do with the cut.

When guys aren't used to cutting weight (as Machida clearly isn't) they can be really slow and low-energy at a lighter weight.

If Machida did make the cut well I think he beats anyone at MW other than Anderson Silva.

Weidman would have little to no chance IMO. I don't see him taking Machida down (or even really getting close enough to try) and Machida would make him look like an amateur on the feet.

I see basically the same thing happening with Chael Sonnen.

Anderson Silva vs Lyoto Machida is one of my ultimate dream match-ups in MMA. Unfortunately, it will never happen. Neither guy wants to fight the other.

I think Machida is the most talented and skilled fighter in the LHW division. Unfortunately he has to deal with Jon Jones who is nearly as skilled but way more physically gifted. I'd give Machida decent odds in the rematch but ultimately I don't think he's gonna be the one to beat Bones....he's just to small.

I'm curious to know what Machida considers a good fight for him at MW.

Anderson Silva money

I have to agree that Machida woudl kill Weidman. That style of fighter has been exactly the style that Machida dominates. Thiago Silva, Bader, and Rashad all got dominated by Machida. Weidman has looked good, and I think that he MIGHT give Anderson issues, but he couldnt strike with machida and his takedowns wouldnt work any better than the three guys I just mentioned. He would end up on the wrong end of an a$$ kicking like they did.

Weidman's on a bit of a tear and looks a real prospect but how anyone can confidently say he would beat Machida I don't know. All aboard the hype train whoooowhoooo.

i really don't see any MW giving Machida too many problems, except Anderson, and since they dont wanna fight, well, even if they dont want to, if he goes to 185 and uncle Dana wants it to happen, it will happen.......

Agreed with you till your last comment.

"Uncle Dana" can't force them to take a fight that they don't want to. It's not like either guy would have to worry about getting cut. The MMA community would overwhelmingly support them in such a situation and they could likely win in court as well.
