Nakao/Herring, best staredown ever. Well, afterwords, Nakao was staring up.

my unlce said he crapped his pants when rampage gave the stare down i did the same as chuck though and cracked a smile i think its hillarious when people try to look all bad and try to punk you out. I dont think chuck was punked out he just didnt block you should always anticipate the counter punch

I can understand if some ham'n'egger off the street tries to stare at you hard, but it's a little different when the guys are actually ass-kickers like Page, Wandy, Frye, etc...

I can't think of a specific instance, but I've always thought that Wandy has the best staredown... Dude's just scary

Was the Rampage staredown of Chuck the greatest in history? It looked to me like Chuck lost all confidence right there. Heck, he tried to crack a smile then punked out and turned his head. Another great staredown is Wandy/Page, but I think this one trumps it.

Wandy. Rampage is a awesome one.

Wand there rolling his wrists. Rampage gritting his teeth. Staredown ends and Jackson chomps his teeth.

The best pre-fight not just stare down I have ever seen was when Heath Herring got kissed and then KO'd the guy the hwole time saying "I'm not gay" That was classic.

As for the most intensity that JT/ Frye was nuts but the caliber of the fight was nowhere close to Liddell/ Jackson. Like it was said earlier in the forum Chuck was not phased by the staredown it was his decision to throw a left to the body and then not to bring the gaurd back up to his chin.
