Gustafuson should be 1 win away, shogun should get loser of Jones vs hendo then if he should win then he is 1 win away. Belcher really impressed me in his last fight but i still think hes 2 wins out.

I think if bones dominates hendo like his fight with shogun i think bones should move up to HW and have a small LHW tourney.

but hey im a nobody lol

I still don't understand how/why Vera was given this opportunity vs Shogun...I'd rather see a more deserving Phil Davis there than him

I think Vera is a good test because he's not easy to finish (Twice in 18 fights, Werdum & Bones). He's 4-3 at 205 but he arguably won the Couture/Jardine decisions as even Couture said Vera won their fight and the Jardine fight was a flip a coin SD, so he's a hair away from 6-1 at 205 with his only loss being to Bones.

Let's see some finishing instinct from Shogun against a guy that has proven to be hard to finish. We've seen what happens when Rua takes someone lightly and it's not pretty.

It's still 2-3 years away before Bones would make the move to HW. He just turned 25 like a week ago. He's at 16 wins now, I'd say once he hits the 20 mark, is the time he makes the move, that would give him some more title defenses, and cement his legacy at LHW, providing he wins out....

That would be a very unimpressive 6-1, though. He got dominated by Jones and then by Silva, even though he tested positive.

He just hasn't been the same since coming down to 205. He is solid, but I have to take Shogun to tko him, with his 17 tko's. I was thinking a UD but Shogun rarely wins by decision.

After reading this the only thing the jumped out to me was how guys dont know weight classes. Truth is no one jumps off the page. 205 is in need of some fresh blood seems like most of the "contenders" are on the backside of their careers.

Davis need to be faced against either of the 4 men mentioned so that a win can justify him a title shot. Gustafasson could thereoretically face a can and win and he's still be next in line.

Keep in mind tho people, Davis has beatn Gus...soo Davis with a win over top competition would be ahead of him...its just that they are feeding him some nobody,
