Is there any way Ryan Jimmo's Saturday night could have been better?

The light heavyweight made his long-awaited UFC debut. He got to fight on the prelims on FX. He fought in front of his home crowd in Canada. And he bagged a UFC record-tying seven-second knockout.

The only way Jimmo's introduction to the UFC fan base could have been better is with a six-second KO, or a five. And that nearly was the case.

The knockout was even better because Perosh waas doing his best Popeye impression once he hit the mat

That was an Evans-Machida quality KO face. Sometimes I feel a little bad watching the older fighters get stumped that bad, but that's the way the game goes.

It was a great KO but also an anomaly coming from Jimmo.

I hadn't seen any of his previous fights before tonight, so idk if his fights were boring or not.

I thought the Robot dance was the highlights of the fight and the most impressive thing anyone did in the cage that night.

(only slightly being sarcastic about the last part)
