Brendan Schaub has a likely date for his next fight, and he also has an opponent in mind.
Schaub, who was on a four-fight win streak before back-to-back losses to Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Ben Rothwell, told MMAjunkie.com Radio (www.mmajunkie.com/radio) that UFC matchmaker Joe Silva has targeted him for a UFC 154 return.

If this fight happens the only way i see it ending is with Schaub gettin KTFO. I would rather see Barry v Schaub tbh.

So he wants to get ktfo? I like the match but Schaub needs a win more than he needs a slugfest with Johnson.

Schaub's shown a huge weakness against big punchers. He managers to hang in there for a while with his overall athleticism and combos, but eventually he gets hit once, stumbles around for a bit, then eats a few more punches before going down.
At this point, I don't know if it's fair to call him "chinny," because the guys landing on him are beastly punchers on top of being heavyweights. But it's obvious he doesn't have the ridiculous kind of chin one needs to stand and brawl like that, and Cro Cop KO aside, he can't equal the top boxers in crushing power.
Schaub's got the natural ability, but he really needs to train more, build up his technique especially on the defensive end. I could see him beating Lavar now if he worked a more ground-centric strategy, but straight up, I think we know what would happen.

I don't think he will be conscious enough to reach for the stars this time around

I just hope Schaub doesn't get is head punched off. He has good skills and his stand up game is improving. The glass jaw is the problem.
