This is the first time Liddell gets KTFO....do you think it will affect him in any way mentally?
I think Chuck losing was a good thing for him,and for us fans because we will actually get to see Chuck fight his way up,and see how he does against lower ranked contenders like Lambert,Bisping,Silva,Rashad or Tito again..and not just the TOP TOP guys....I would say Jardine, but now that he got KTFO..so maybe Houston Alexander...
This will Make Chuck train harder, and hungry again

I have to say that while I don't think Chuck's KO will affect him mentally, he will not regain the UFC LHW title. Chuck is 38, and has never been known for taking care of himself ala Couture. Even if Chuck gets the next shot after Page/Hendo, he doesn't match up a whole lot better against Hendo stylewise than Rampage. And I just don't see Chuck fighting past 40. At least not on the same level. I hope that we get to see Chuck fight Wandy. They are both on the short end of their careers but are still both great fighters.

I wanted him to loose because 1) I love Rampage 2) He can fight all these LHW's I don't like and kill them

I like the way you think sir.
I would like to see chuck to dismantle some LHW's, but I dunno rampage may have exposed a weakness in chuck, other than gettin in his head, because you could tell he was in chuck's head.

The only weakness I could see is that he wasn't prepared to be counter-punched, but the thing is, who else in the LHW can do that to him? There aren't many LHWs with hands good enough to pull that off, and even so, very few that could hit him that hard. That was a MONSTER punch by Rampage, and even that didn't actually KO Chuck. I don't think he'll have any problems with the lower tier LHWs, but if they actually do disolve Pride and bring all their fighters in, I can't see Chuck getting the belt back before he retires.

It wont affect him because I don't think he was really KOed. He got up right after the fight was stopped and I bet that he suffered no more than a flash knockout.

No because Chuck has been rocked before and was out for like two seconds before he regained his senses. Jackson just looked amazing and countered that Liddell body shot perfectly. He caoxed Liddell into becomming the aggressor and then countered him OUT.
edit- I also do not see Liddell reclaiming the belt.

In general, i dont think it will, but if he comes up against rampage again, theres no way ill beleive it wont play on his mind that rampage dropped him within 2 minutes. It just seems like rampage is to chuck what chuck is to tito. I think hes got a way better shot of beating hendo than jackson, but i cant see hendo beating rampage so i guess we'll just have to see what happens.

how was this an upset. rampage dominated him in the first fight. page should have been the favorite going in. i don't understand how chuck was the favorite going in. was it just cause he had the belt?

Ummm, I never thought there was any domination in this fight. It was too short for that and there wasn't much more than the one shot that dropped Chuck.
To me Chuck is a very mature fighter and I think he'll take whatever he can from this loss.
I'm curious who Chuck is fighting next.

It was an upset for several reasons all of which stem from Liddells more recent wins and Jackson's more recent losses.

According to how people were calling the winner of this fight (MMAplayground) I wouldn't call this an upset. Neither fighter was even strongly favoured in this fight. I wouldn't call it an upset.

I wouldn't call it an upset either. Rampage is one of the best light heavies in the world and he really had a good shot at beating Chuck, like he proved.

It's only an upset if you look at the odds... I'm pretty sure most fight fans believed it could go either way pretty easily.
