The first video game release from Bellator Fighting Championships is available today.

"Bellator: MMA Onslaught," an arcade-style MMA game, was announced earlier this year in association with Viacom Entertainment Group's 345 Games and Spike TV.

The game can be downloaded for $15 through the PlayStation Network and XBox Live Arcade.

"Bellator has a roster of many of the world's most exciting fighters, and we are thrilled to work with 345 Games to let fans experience our organization in a whole new way," Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney stated earlier this year. "Instead of just watching Michael Chandler's incredible takedowns or Patricky 'Pitbull's' devastating knockout power, fans can now get in the cage with 'Bellator: MMA Onslaught' and either fight with or against Bellator's finest."

I'll try the demo first but for 15$ I'll probably end up buying it.

After the catastrophe that was EA Sports MMA, I will stick with the UFC brands. Not worth a penny to see more names if the controls suck that bad.

I found EA MMA much easier to control than UFC 1 and 2...plus the online gameplay much was much more fluid and realistic.

You do know EA MMA is now going to be EA UFC MMA right? THQ sold the rights and EA is now making UFC licensed games.
