With one of the biggest fights in company history taking place at UFC 148, plus the latest UFC Fan Expo, fans already had plenty on tap next month in Las Vegas.
Now they can add even more to the list of options for the week. The UFC on Monday made official a partnership with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority for the first International Fight Week.
International Fight Week kicks off July 3 and will feature five days of events, culminating in the UFC 148 pay-per-view on July 7. And the plan is to make the Las Vegas show around Independence Day each year an International Fight Week event.

Tuesday, July 3
11 a.m.: UFC 148 press conference, Lagasse's Stadium at The Palazzo
Wednesday, July 4
11 a.m.–11 p.m.: Octagon Nation truck at Fremont Street Experience
7:30 p.m.: Kick-off party and 3 Doors Down concert at Fremont Street Experience
Thursday, July 5
11 a.m.–11 p.m.: Octagon Nation truck at Fremont Street Experience
11 a.m.–3 p.m.: UFC 148 open workouts at XS at Encore at Wynn
1–6 p.m.: Pool party with UFC octagon girls and fighters at Palms Casino Resort
6–8 p.m.: Downtown pub crawl with UFC octagon girls and fighters at Golden Nugget, El Cortez, The D, Golden Gate
Friday, July 6
10 a.m.–6 p.m.: UFC Fan Expo at Mandalay Bay Convention Center
