Anderson Silva's autobiography was supposed to be a landmark in Brazil’s mixed martial arts history but actually, the book has become pain the neck for the Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight champion.

First, The Spider created controversy with an anecdote about returning with a gun to look for former coach Rafael Cordeiro after an earlier argument ended up with Anderson taking a slap in the face.

Then Jose ‘Pele’ Landi-Jons also made strong comments last week when he read a section which accused him of deliberately driving through a puddle to spray road water all over Anderson and his daughter...

Rudimar Fedrigo is a politician (in 2008 his position was "Secretary of Sports") and this just sounds like a way for him to protect that ever-important image of his.

I have my doubts about both sides, but I do know the old story that Chute Boxe, which Fedrigo headed, threatened PRIDE with pulling the fighters they managed off the roster if Anderson Silva fought again for them. (The allegations, I believe, were that Silva walked away from Chute Boxe because Fedrigo was pocketing his paycheck. At one point, the UFC offered to pick up Anderson Silva for a fight against Matt Hughes but Fedrigo and Chute Boxe declined, and if the claims about money are true that would probably because the UFC's policy has always been direct payment to a fighter and not to a fighter camp.) Big Nog, Little Nog, and Feijao saved Silva from retiring seven or eight years ago and arranged fights for him as they worked on different parts of his game.

Rudimar Fedrigo is sleazy. I am sure Anderson Silva is guilty of being a bad person and a bad sport occasionally in his career, but if he wants to call out that guy I doubt it's because he just wants to pick a fight.
