I don't get why the UFC would sign him to so many fights with him being so old. I have very little interest really unless its agianst BJJ guys like Maia, Palhares and guys like that. We rarely get to see Gracie Jiu-Jitsu at work from a Gracie

It was a 6 fight deal before the Hughes fight with no time period on getting the fights in, so he has 5 fights and infinite years left unless the UFC tells him they're not going to book him anymore.

After a knock out or two, I can see Renzo renegotiating his contract. IMO, there is really no point in fighting anymore. He has plenty of money - I'm sure. The only reason to keep fighting is if he truly believes he is relevant in the sport. Otherwise, do yourself and your family a favor and hang it up. I wouldn't say this to a mediocre fighter who is young and is trying to make ends meet. Renzo is old in the world of fighting and furthermore he has other sources of income. There is really no need for this...

I would actually prefer that they not book him

Really?

So the UFC is not jumping and banging on Bibiano's door or phoning him to make sure they can sign him and get him on a UFC card, but the UFC instead,is wanting Renzo to fight? LOL

Renzo might do well in his next UFC match. I'm not saying he'll win but should be a better showing than the Hughes fight. A student of his told me Renzo should have never of taken that fight for several different reasons so perhaps his mind will be a little more focused this go around.

At least the bar will be set low, can't get much worse of a fight than Abu Dhabi. That was easily one of the hardest fights to watch.

Throw Henzo a wrestler to feed my enjoyment

Might be one of the only winnable fights for him at this point.

Someone who will take him down will play right into his game. Once its on the mat, Renzo has a chance against anyone.

What he needs to fear is the sprawl and brawl guys.
