Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has established herself as the top dog at 135lbs, and hopes to prove it again in her next bout.
She faces former champion Sarah Kaufman in a title fight currently rumored to take place on Aug 18 in San Diego.
With the fight still more than two months away, the odds have already been released for the showdown between Rousey and Kaufman and as expected, the champion opened as a monstrous favorite.

Even ignoring momentum coming into the fight, it's easy to look at Kaufman's last loss and expect some problems for her against Rousey.
Kaufman's standup is decent and her cardio is great, but she constantly posted her arms while on top of a long grappler in Marloes Coenen. You see that from strong wrestlers out of college and new to MMA without any BJJ training, and it takes only a couple tight armbars for them to learn.
Post-fight interviews weren't encouraging at the time, as Kaufman seemed surprised by what happened. It might've just been shock or adrenaline, and it's entirely possible she's learned since then.
I think this'll be Rousey's toughest test so far at what happens when she gets punched in the face, but I think the oddsmakers have it right. Rousey by 2nd round armbar, at the latest.
