Hector Lombard (31-2-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) is understandably disappointed about swapping a headliner with Brian Stann for a main-card fight with Tim Boetsch (15-4 MMA, 6-3 UFC).

"But it's not the end of the world," Lombard today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com).

Give him a fight with Michael Bisping after he presumably beats Boetsch, and he'll be a happy man, he said.

"There are complainers out there, like Bisping," Lombard said. "He's not happy that I'm getting the title shot. So I need to fight all these complainers first."

i dont have very high hopes for lombard, i think he's a bit one dimensional, and that rarely works out in the ufc. however, it would be nice to see a new contender at MW and its always nice to have somebody to watch that is primarily a KO artist. i like this fight with boetsch too, i think its gonna give us a chance to see how lombard can handle a tough, yet not top contender, fighter in the ufc.

Other than Shlemenko, Lombard has just been a can-crusher, so even tho Boetsch is barely a top 12-15 cuz he beat Okami he will still be one of Lombard's toughest opponents lol

Reading that article, Bisping is again very delusional. Who are these best fighters he has beat? On top of that who are these "best fighters" he has knocked out?

Beat a top 5 middleweight Bisping and then we can talk.

Boetsch will ride his clinch and top control to victory.
