An undisclosed injury has forced Chad Griggs (11-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) to withdraw from UFC on FOX 4.

In his place goes Wagner Prado (7-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC), who now fights light heavyweight Phil Davis (9-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) at the Aug. 4 event, which takes place at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The event's main card airs live on FOX while prelims go to FUEL TV and Facebook. The promotion has yet to confirm broadcast assignments for the fight card.

MMAWeekly.com first reported the shift, and MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) confirmed it with a source close to the event.

Seems like the same quality of opponent for Davis, except Prado is most likely better on the ground, since he trains with with Team Nogueira

I've heard he's MT specialist, so might be the opposite...hard to get much info on him as he's got one bout on youtube, but it starts towards the end of the bout and he throws one leg kick and his opponent goes down injured.

I would prefer to see Davis fight someone with more fights to their name but I don't know enough about Prado to pass judgement on his fighting ability.

Looks like Davis has fallen far after his last fight. Which is a good thing because he it will give him needed time to improve. Davis via submission hopefully something fun.

That would have been way more appropriate.
