It always used to be a case of those who asked for a Top Poster badge rarely received one.

I'm not sure if that's still the case.

If being a previously banned member has anything to do with getting a top poster badge I don't think that is fair considering the rules have drastically changed since I was banned.

I'm not saying I deserve a top poster badge but eventually I would like to receive one. One day

But if I am automatically out of the running for one because of being banned for a month ovet something bogus then that's messed up .

Hopefully that isn't the case

This site has gone through many ups and downs and various dramas. All community websites go through this (I love sherdog's articles, fightfinder, and roundtable radio show, thus the reason we link to them so much), but their forums can be brutal. Shit happens. So long as folks are genuinely trying to get along and not be intentional trolls or asshats, there is no reason to hold any past nonsense against anyone at this point. There's lots of stuff under development right now to try and take the site to the next level, so I'm all for just leaving the past in the past and trying to enjoy my favorite sport with like-minded people. There's gonna be haters, complainers, and fights regardless - but whatevs, live and let live IMO. Too bad there's no way to take the Joe Rogan approach and just crop dust everyone with weed fog

I think the professionalism on Playground is outstanding. Most members, if not all, are well spoken and behave very well within the rules.

Now for the fun part. We do have dramas and member to member conflicts here and there but because of our professionalism, we are able to deliver subtle and even harsh insults in the disguise of beautiful and non-threatening words. Does that make us better than Sherdog?

For the record, I HAVE made an account at Sherdog long ago but I have never posted in their forums. I am so fortunate I found PG.
