UFC on FUEL TV 3: "Korean Zombie vs. Poirier" from the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia, has officially wrapped, which means it's time for those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights to get a little extra grease for their efforts.
To the tune of $40,000 each.
The promotion dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four out of the 24 fighters on the card, and it's probably no surprise who's headed home with a second sack of simoleons.
In a shocker, Tom Lawlor was awarded "Knockout of the Night" honors for unloading some heavy leather on Jason MacDonald in the opening bout of the main card on FUEL TV. Of the 12 bouts that took place this evening, only one of them ended by way of knockout.
Way to make Dana White's job easy, Lawlor.

I liked Igor/Fabio for FOTN, more of a slobberknocker.

Igor vs Fabio was fun but Jung vs Poirier was even better.

I agree with all the awards but it sucks Fabio didn't get the extra cash cause he's been screwed out of a win twice in a row now.

Igor was joking saying he hopes not to fight on the same card as KZ anymore, since that was the second time, KZ's fight got FOTN over Igor's.

Very well deserved by the Zombie. If I was Dana or one of the brothers, I would have thrown in a special bonus such as a car or a Harley.
The Zombie was not expected to win last night nor was he expected to win against Hominick. Twice now he has not only proved the odds-makers and fight fans wrong, he has done so in spectacular fashion. Whether he wins against Aldo or not, the Zombie is already a champion in his own right. As for me, I am one stubborn picker and it should be no surprise I will be picking the Zombie to win when he faces the feather weight champion and hopefully it's Aldo.

This was a damn solid card. On any given night, Cerrone-Stephens, Pokrajac-Maldonado or even Rivera-Soto could have gotten FOTN. Hopefully all those guys get a little something extra.
