Five-time World’s Strongest Man titleholder Mariusz Pudzianowski put away Bob Sapp with first-round punches less than a minute into their KSW 19 headliner on Saturday at the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland. Sapp (11-12), who has lost his last six fights, succumbed to the Polish strongman’s blows 41 seconds into round one.

The two behemoths approached one another tentatively at the start and then let loose with their fists. Sapp covered up almost immediately and ate a series of close-quarters knees. Pudzianowski (4-2) backed him into the ropes, ripped his feet out from under him with a primitive but effective standing double-leg takedown and smashed away with hammerfists and punches. With Sapp offering nothing in return, referee Tomasz Bronder swooped in and brought the match to a merciful close.

Big win for Khalidov. Wallace went 3 full rounds with both Davis and Stann and didn't get finished. It took Khalidov under 2 minutes to put his lights out for the first time in his career. Get this guy in the UFC and do it soon before Bellator starts reaching out wanting a Falcao/Khalidov fight.

Good for Pudz winning the way he did but it means nothing because it's Bob Sapp. Sapp has gotten really used to that fetal position he resorts to in every single fight.

The pudz/Sapp fight was embarrassing, Sapp looked terrified at the pre bell stare down, then turtled up for the remainder of the fight, he should be banned from fighting as he gives in as soon he he is hit and has no defense

To me it looked like Sapp was happier after the fight than Mariusz. Sapp didn't even look like he wanted to win that fight. Obviously the pay check was very much worth showing up for.

Normally comments like this irritate me, but I think it's getting to the point that it sure seems like he's diving for cash. It's hard to watch.

How did Sapp's face even get cut??? He had his face covered up the whole time, besides the two punches he attempted to throw.

I smell a wrestling cut job.

Seriously though, must be nice to be Sapp, get nice pay days for getting your ass beat for 1 minute worth of work, time after time. Don't even have to train, for the way Sapp fights.

My best friend just started watching MMA last year and already Bob Sapp is a running punchline for him.

Agreed, Khalidov has been flying under the radar for too long. Materle is another polish mw I would like to see come over, beat Jay Silva this weekend.

As for Sapp, he should retire before he embarasses himself and the sport.

Woops, too late

I gave up actually watching Bob Sapp fight like 5 years ago, the guy is the exact same every time - Basically just hops in the cage, collects his cash and leaves without tossing a punch or caring about the fight in general.

The guy is a joke, he's constantly turtling - Hell, i'd like my chances against Sapp in a fight, even though he has like 8 inches and 200 pounds on me..

Not even a week later he loses again, this time to Soa Palelei in only 12 seconds into the 1st round at CFC 21.
