I know people love to hate, but I'm a fan of Jones and think he's got this one.

I'm getting tired of the old "Shadface" and am looking for a new one, so we can keep that meme going a bit longer.

Rashad would make a good zombie.

But seriously, I think Rashad has the best chances out of all Jones' opponents. He has speed and quick hands. He has superb wrestling. Even if Rashad does not land take downs, he can certainly grind out a decision win by smothering Jones and pressing him up against the cage.

Jones' only real advantage is he has longer limbs. Furthermore, I seriously doubt Jones could take Rashad down. The contest here is a classic case of wrestler versus striker. Although Jones is a wrestler, he will want to stay on his feet to utilize his reach against the faster and more nimble wrestler, Rashad. Jones does not necessarily have dynamite in his hands and so I'm banking on Rashad to close the distance without absorbing too much damage.

You're going down, Jones.

While I'm taking Jones, I don't see why more guys don't throw leg kicks on him other than because they are afraid of getting taken down and battered by his brutal elbows. Of course I'm a huge fan of the leg kick and feel as if it is a VERY under utilized weapon.

I know that the odds makers are listing Rashad as a big underdog in this fight, but I don't think this matchup will be as big a mismatch as some people are predicting. Evans is fast for his size, packs a ton of power in his hands, solid wrestler, and he has the benefit of having trained with Jones at one point.

If Rashad pushes the action early, gets Jones on his heels and tests his chin... I wouldn't be surprised if Evans walks away with a 1st or 2nd round KO.
