With the whole Alistair Overeem drug test situation, there's been a lot of talk on who should face Junior dos Santos for the Heavyweight title at UFC 146. Dana White shot down the idea of having Frank Mir step in, and M-1 Global has announced that Fedor will be fighting on April 21 against a yet to be named opponent, making both fighters highly unlikely as candidates for the title shot.
That being said, Fedor Emelianenko is currently in a training camp in Holland, and The Last Emperor was spotted working out with UFC gloves on.

Ufc gloves ? Now? Not ever before.
I bet he fills in for overeem we won't know for two more weeks. He is training for a fight all right

They messed up on the date he's scheduled for June 21st not April 21st.
Also I don't think this is too big a deal, I can go train with UFC gloves on doesn't mean i'll get signed by them anytime soon.

wearing ufc gloves? just cause hes working out in ufc gloves doesnt mean he fight junior or even deserves to be in the ufc. new kids buy those same gloves at the local sporting goods stores before starting classes at my gym. i call BS. they are just grappling gloves

Figures Bloody Elbow would first post something like this, and two get Fedor's next fight date screwed up. Exactly why I always stay away from there. They're like the National Enquirer for MMA.

If anyone says they don't wanna see Fedor vs Cigano, they're a damn liar. This match would be incredible and "big" for the fans.
