Ring of Combat light heavyweight champion Tom DeBlass is expected to make his Octagon debut against striking specialist Cyrille Diabate at UFC on Fuel TV 2.

DeBlass (Pictured) announced the news on Tuesday, revealing the booking on his Facebook page.

“The plan was to let an injury heal, but this is an opportunity I cannot let pass,” DeBlass wrote. “Thanks everyone, and I'll fight hard. Godspeed!”

Diabate had been slated to face Swedish muay Thai ace Jorgen Kruth, but “The Last Viking” has reportedly suffered an injury and will be unable to compete, according to Swedish outlet MMANytt.se.

Damn, that sucks. I was really looking forward to Kruth's debut.

This hurts my parlay, Kruth had great odds.

Dang this sucks. Kruth was the biggest piece of my parlay. Not sure where I'm going from here.

Snake...? Yo Snake! Snaaaaaaaaaake!!!! I really like watching this guy strike, I just want to see if he can finish this fight tko style. His fight against Cantwell was butchery, but it looked like he gassed in rd 3 and couldn't open up to put away a guy who could hardly even connect.

Saying you were letting a injury heal up probably isn't the best thing
