this is a kickass card.

Dos santos vs the reem is gonna be epic, JDS KO

Hunt vs Struve is gonna be awesome as well... hunt KO

Velasquez vs Mir...who doesnt like seeing Mir's face get turned inside out? I joke I joke I kid I kid, but really this is gonna look like Mir vs Carwin and Lesnar, only this time it will be coming from a much smaller guy so it will look funnier

Gonzaga has looked horrible since he got back, so i'm going for SDR too

He won his only fight since he has been back, with a 1st rd. sub, how is that looking horrible?

i havnt seen kongo manhandled by anyone so easily since his fight against mir. but i think mark hunt has deadly underrated hands and underrated grappling skills.
interesting to see how he goes against such a taller guy but if the same mark hunt shows up thats been fighting lately then its gonna end bad for struve.

jds vs overeem is a tough one....both guys at the top when it comes to striking, jds has the bjj black belt but i dont see this one going to the ground. as in both of their latest fashions they have had fast ko victories and im predicting just that in this fight with a first round ko by AO.

I'm looking forward to seeing Struve and JDS.

I'm definitely not a fan of this weight class in general, but it still looks like a pretty good card.

PS. I really can't see Hunt winning. I'm just not sold on him, despite his recent wins. He gives me a similar feeling to Hendricks in WW - I'm just not convinced they'll really ever be in the mix as serious title contenders. That's just my unschooled opinion though.

I feel it's about even. Struve is clearly worlds better on the ground, and foolishly chooses to strike with people despite his inefficiencies. Hunt is worlds better on the feet, and foolishly follows people to the ground who could tap him in a minute.

It's hard for me to place one higher than the other against each other, since both's strengths are the others weakness and both have hilariously deficient gameplans.

Someone had mentioned to me they would like cards to have only one weight class. To me, that is the most ridiculous suggestion I have heard. Why would anyone in their right mind would prefer an event with only one weight class over an even with a little bit of everything?

But anyway, I hope Hunt wins and wins again and fights for the title at the end of this year.
