I guess for Giants fans, Barry Zito's ridiculous contract was forgotten, with that pitching performance last night.

they "traded" for him. It's been a fucking year of this shit, a ton of dancing around the subject but I'm glad its finally over. When they didn't sign him to an extension at the beginning of August when the team was still above .500, I had a feeling it was nearing the end. I'm happy they did this now rather than wait around...I wonder how long this deal was in place and if Farrell gave a shit in the final month.

Can't say I'll miss him but he was dealt a very shitty hand this year

Tigers in 6. They'll only have to face Cain once (2nd time game 7 most likely) and Verlander has games 1 and 4. Beltran had no help in the last 3 games offensively, but I doubt Cabrera will have the same problem

Rooting for the giants solely so I can say if they win, at least my Reds lost to the champs this year.

a kid that went to my high school and was my neighbor sometime plays for the Tigers. He didn't make the playoff roster but I will still be rooting for the Tigers.

He did play 3 games for the Tigers though earlier this year. I don't think he would get a world series ring but I don't know.
