Trying to figure out what to do with the manager. I'm a Cardinals fan fyi. I just cheer for the Jays as well

Yankees didnt have much working for em today. Tigers better hope they dont cool off while the Cards & Giants play theirs out.

Right after these last three outs, let the A-Rod to Miami talks heat up all the more.

That is pretty cool that all of these Divisional Series have gone to the final game.

Verlander last night did his thing. 9 IP, 4 Hits, 0 Runs, 1 BB, and 11 K's.

Its on now!

Break out the brooms.

I do love the Av Shawn.

A-roid + Cano + Granderson = 9-95 = 0.095 playoff batting average!! Looks like Jeter is more important to the team than most people realize

He is but Cano was hitting sickly before the playoffs, around .460 the last 2 weeks of the season and then had 3 hits in the playoffs.

Arod needs to work on his swing, completely change it in the off season. He still is using his long big bomb swing he has for his career and he just cant catch up to the fastball anymore with it. Shorten the swing at least.

It's not like this is the first time A-rod has struggled in the playoffs...it happens virtually every single year. I think it's more mental than anything

I'll only post a couple memes about the sweep. Hard to limit it though

Every year since his hip injury. 2010 and on. Joe Torre fucked with him in the 2006 playoffs. Playoffs are so broken down to a few games its tough for every great player to have good postseasons every year.

isn't that why he is getting paid more than anyone else in baseball history though? I don't expect him to hit .400 all the time, but he's been around or below the Mendoza line so frequently it's becoming more of a trend than a 1 off. Pujols, for example, has a bad avg in all 3 World Series appearances but tears the cover off the ball in the DS and CS every single year. Over the course of Arod's career, hes has 2 good playoffs (2004 and 2009) out of 8 appearances. Players are broken down during every series throughout the season, playoffs are no different aside the fact that certain relievers pitch almost nightly

He had good playoffs in 1997 and 2000 as well. 97 he led the Mariners in hits in that postseason and although they lost to the O's that was Griffey Jr and Edgar not coming through, and Randy Johnson losing both games 1 and 4

They meaning Hank douchebag Steinbrenner gave him that contract after his MVP 2007 season. Cashman and others were 100% against it knowing how handcuffed they would be in his later years. His hip, swing and bat speed with his age has grounded him
