Valverde came in the ninth inning with a 3-1 lead. It looked like he was trowing batting practice.
A's tied it up 2-2 so tonight is do or die for both the A's and the Tigers. Verlander will be on the mound and hopefully he's the legendary JV tonight.
I gotta say the A's gotta have the momentum coming in to tonight's game. The fans go crazy at home.
I say if JV gets some run support it will be a good not for the Tigers.

That is pretty cool that all of these Divisional Series have gone to the final game.
Verlander last night did his thing. 9 IP, 4 Hits, 0 Runs, 1 BB, and 11 K's.

had a guy at the bar who knows that i'm a Braves fan say "I bet you are glad the Nats are winning since the Cardinals took y'all out." I replied w/ a simple "Hell no."
I may not be a cardinals fan, but i will never pull for the Nats, Mets, Phillies, or Yankees. I despise them all.
I will however be rooting for the Giants

Poor poor Nats
Still bitter about the Cards beating the Braves, because they shouldn't have even been in the playoffs, but that stupid WC game, let them get in. Gotta hand it to them though for that incredible comeback.
Both match ups should be great!!

I'm stoked the Tigers won last night.
They need to keep Valverde out of the game though.
For you guys that follow Baseball closely, Valverde is terrible in non-save situations. Why did they put him in there when it was 4-0.
Detroit Tigers vs St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series. 2006 rematch. Well that's what I'm pulling for.
