McCorkle can win as many as he wants outside the UFC, but as long as he's winning them at SHW and not HW, then he's not winning HW fights.
For this card it took him 2 tries to get to 281 and he said the cut was "brutal".
I'd like to see him make 265 for his next fight to show that he's making the cut the UFC would require.
He needs to fight Sylvia, Big Sexy vs ManBearPig
they asked him about it on MMA@WORK last week.
they train together & mccorkle hates fighting his friends that he trains w/. he said he would do it if the money was right for both of them, but pretty much admitted he'd have a hard time going in there trying to finish a training partner/friend

Training partners that got onto TUF together have had to fight each other.
