Former UFC middleweight Nate Marquardt has signed with Strikeforce. The move was announced by Ariel Helwani on tonight's episode of UFC Tonight on Fuel. Fuel TV's twitter account verified the news as well:

I'm guessing that he will fight Woodley, maybe once more after that and then we'll see him back on the undercard on an upcoming UFC card. Not real sure what Strikeforce has to offer other than that. There are interesting fights at 185(Rockhold, Jacare) but I'm sure he will stay at 170, at least for the near future
