I was impressed with how Walel Watson survived like 55 guillotine attempts

I'm assuming you mean rear naked choke attempts.

Anyways...I think that was more of an issue with Dillashaw's technique. Had he secured a proper position over Watson when he had his hooks in, Watson shouldn't have been able to roll or turn his body time and time again.

Dillashaw looked really impressive. That was a 30-25 pwnage. Looked really smart too in setting up his strikes with feints at the TD.

Albert really impressed me in defeat. I thought that round he and Menjivar was one of the more exciting rounds so far this year. Had a little bit of everything, and a lot of back and forth action.

It's almost hard for me to be impressed by Dillashaw because of how awful Watson seemed, and how unable Dillashaw was to get a finish.
That may not make any sense, but I do think it is the case for myself.

And yeah, Albert was impressive to me as well.

The way that Stefan Struve absolutely obliterated Herman in round 2 was impressive. I was also impressed by Miocic's Incredible Hulk routine last night. Dude has dynamite in his fists.

I was most impressed with Diego Sanchez even-though I personally think he is a nut. Most fighters on this earth know when they are outclassed but not Diego. During every minute of that fight, Diego never wilted and still believed - he can win. I would have loved to see a fourth and fifth round. I don't even know why this main event was not a 5 rounder. So, in a sense, we can say Diego was robbed.

I actually think that Ellenberger's takedown around the final minute mark of round 2 sealed that victory. Had he not done that, Diego would not have suffered the GNP. Assuming the fight plays out the way it did, Diego could have taken it 29-28.

And when Anik said "for some reason Struve is not utilizing his reach...." I thought to myself I know for a fact you've seen Struve fight before.

Most Impressed: Brookins
Least Impressed: Herman (When is he going to get himself together? Not like he doesn't have talent)

Most:

Stefen Struve - his striking finally didnt look awkward, threw in great combinations, pressed forward instead of playing defense, i agree with k-flo that he needs to use the jab but other than that he looked great, didnt get rocked once by Herman, he's still evolving, even his gnp was evolved

John Albert - not sure what happened to him there at the end he was winning the fight at that point, looks like he almost gassed himself out trying to finish Menjivar which he failed to do, but what a performance, threw everything at Menjivar, could've stuck to the striking more but overall the kid has a future at bw

Least:

Dave Herman - I actually think he has some potential to be pretty good if he took the sport seriously, maybe jiu jitsu didnt win struve the fight but any knowledge of bjj in mma would've shown Herman how to attempt at getting out of the mount, buck, roll, do something other than lay motionless gettin hit

Ivan Menjivar - Another fighter i think still has great things for the sport and i like as a fighter but the ref almost stopped the fight and it would've changed the public opinion of him as possible contender, and this performance even though a fotn candidate still hurt his status in the division, expect a big step up for ivan in the next one

Most: Struve - I'm still not sold on him being a future contender but I'll admit he's doing a lot better then I thought he would. I had him written off in these last two fights.

Least: Miocic - I keep hearing about he's the next big thing in the division but he didn't impress me last night.

Most Menjivar.....looked awesome against a surprisingly very game Albert.
Least Watson.....got out classed even while striking against Dillashaw!

Were you high? He straight destroyed de Fries with dynamite in his fists. Just because he got hit doesn't mean it wasn't impressive. He's 2-0 in the UFC as a HW. Impressive no matter what

Least probably the arena. The arena.looked very small

LEAST: The combination of Anik/Florian. I like 'em both but it's hard to tell which one is talking at times and my girlfriend wouldn't stop complaining about it. "Who's talking now?" or "Which one is that?"

I really notice this too. I have to listen really attentively in order to tell them apart, if I'm focusing on the fight and just kind of hearing them in the background they're barely distinguishable.

I was most impressed by myself. I got 78 points and was #32 overall

Honestly though, I was most impressed by that late onslaught Diego was seemingly able to pull out of his ass.

Least impressed by Walel Watson. I thought Dillashaw would win but jeez... didn't foresee a 30-25 fight.
