Two new bouts have been added to April's UFC 145 event in Atlanta, and seven have been shifted to the card after the recent cancellation of a March event in Montreal.

One of the new additions is an intriguing bantamweight bout between former WEC champ Miguel Torres (40-4 MMA, 2-1 UFC) and fast-rising Michael McDonald (14-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC).

The latest UFC 145 card now includes:
Michael McDonald vs. Miguel Torres
Maximo Blanco vs. Marcus Brimage
Mark Hominick vs. Eddie Yagin
Rory MacDonald vs. Che Mills
Ben Rothwell vs. Brendan Schaub
Mark Bocek vs. Matt Wiman
Travis Browne vs. Chad Griggs
John Makdessi vs. Anthony Njokuani
Mac Danzig vs. Efrain Escudero
Chris Clements vs. Keith Wisniewski

Both those fights have a ton of potential.

Hoping the Torres that fought Pace shows up.

A win for McDonald, gets him close to title shot.

Definitely not a HW title fight. Dos Santos wouldn't be ready with his knee, Overeem wanted time off as well, I think they are targeting late Spring/Early Summer.

Needs a main event, but McD/Torres is good.

Really excited for that Torres/McDonald fight, actually. Torres has the range and a very good chin along with a much-improved striking game that focuses on his natural strengths, but McDonald's quick and resilient and knows how to get his fists onto chins. I think he's gifted enough to not get sucked into Torres' sub game on the ground, that he'd likely get back to his feet quickly and with all of his limbs instead of getting lovetapped and mitigated from butterfly guard.

Torres was clearly KTFO'd by Bowles, but he ate a high number of accurate, full power bombs from one of the hardest hitters in the division, not to mention the initial knockdown punch that he pretty much walked into. McDonald's the kind of fighter to suck him into another brawl, and at that point we'll learn a lot about both guys. Has Torres continued to augment his BJJ and toughness with a crisp striking attack from range, or is McDonald more than just a young talent with speed and a few slick moves?
