The UFC’s first preliminary bout telecast on the FX Network clearly shows that fans aren’t yet used to the promotion’s switch to the Fox family of networks.

I think it was expected to be lower than any SPIKE prelims and higher than any ION prelims. It'll take a little while for casual fans to replace UFC on SPIKE to UFC on FX in their heads.

wait I thought gleison tebow was that giant lw fighter?
I also think the lack of advertising hurt as well.on spike they can run ads nonstop since the only other thing on is dea (who really wants to watch that?) And deadliest ways to die. Ratings will pick up soon.

I actually have recorded prelims every time they've been on spike and I'm a huge mma fan accross the board, but I didn't even realize that I had fx or what channel the prelims would be on last weekend. I literally didn't know that I could even catch the prelims last weekend and only in the past few days have starting watching the programming on fueltv and fx. I'm sure it'll just take a while to get the message out there, some extra advertising on fox would help as well as it not being playoff football time. Plus Spike actually counter programmed this past weekend. Time will tell I'll be interested to see what happens after the first major fox Card.
