RIO DE JANEIRO – Anthony Johnson made weight when it mattered most.
After he came in heavy and weighed 197 pounds for a 185-pound bout with Vitor Belfort at Friday's official UFC 142 fighter weigh-ins, Johnson was told he could weigh no more than 205 pounds after rehydrating.
After a UFC-mandated second weigh-in on event day, he today weighed 204.2 pounds.
Therefore, his fight with Belfort is good to go for tonight's pay-per-view event, which takes place at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro. However, Johnson (10-3 MMA, 7-3 UFC) still must surrender 20 percent of his purse as a fine, which will be issued to Belfort (20-9 MMA, 9-4 UFC).

Officially it's LHW, technically it's also catchweight.
Catchweight is kind of a novelty term thrown around from the days of pre-TV boxing really and was transformed, in MMA, into the term given when a fighter doesn't make weight but the AC still thinks the fight is safe, competitive, and fair enough to go on per the unified rules. Or a fight at an agreed upon weight under the maximum but still within the division. So since the AC is allowing the fight to go on with the weight discrepancy it can be "called" a catchweight fight but every fight is officially in the weight division of the heaviest fighter so it is most definitely a LHW bout, just as fighters meeting at 195 are fighting in a Light Heavyweight fight regardless if a promotion bills it as a "catchweight". How the Brazilian AC will officially list it? Your guess is as good as mine

All I know is, Johnson better not wrestle his way to a decision or it won't be a good ending for him.
So he better get the KO or Vitor better get the KO.
Or the guy on the right will be coming after you.

So with even more hours until the fight, we can expect Johnson to be around 218 plus or minus 5.
I just hope his sickness was related to dehydration and nothing else.
Sorry Vitor, but I need this pick for my parlay.

Pretty sure that's just a spray painted ice cube tray on his abdomen. Nobody should have abs that actually protrude from their body
