UFC 145 has added a lightweight bout between two dynamic strikers.

UFC officials today announced that Anthony Njokuani (14-6 MMA, 1-2 UFC) and John Makdessi (9-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) have verbally agreed to meet at the March event, which takes place in Montreal.

UFC 145, which is the first Canadian show of the year, takes place March 24 at Montreal's Bell Centre.

The night's main card airs on pay-per-view, and the preliminary card airs on FX. Njokuani vs. Makdessi likely will be part of the prelims.

Nice little stand up war here. Should be exciting. Njokuani's length might give Makdessi some problems.

Makdessi still fighting at 155? Thought he might drop down.

Pulling for Njo.

Yeah, that dude is way too small for 155, he could fight at 135 imo

Wow what a fun fight. 2 of the most diverse strikers in the division, Not a clue who to pick here, Njo seems logical at first but Makdessi could pull it off easily
