Undefeated heavyweight slugger Travis Browne (12-0-1 MMA, 3-0-1 UFC) returns to action in March, and he'll welcome once-beaten Strikeforce vet Chad Griggs (11-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC).

UFC officials today announced the matchup, which will take place at UFC 145.

While complete details for the card have yet to be announced, UFC 145 takes place in March in Montreal. The city's Bell Centre is expected to host the pay-per-view event on March 24.

Verbal agreements are in place for Browne vs. Griggs, and bout agreements are expected to be finalized shortly.

I think Joe Silva saw my last post. I should get some sort of commission for this fight.

I like this fight! I hope Browne doesn't treat it like the Rob Broughten fight!

Hopefully Browne will slug it out though and doesn't take Griggs down.

I think Browne will beat the mutton chops off him.

Feel sorry for Griggs. Browne will smash him.

That's his best way to victory unfortunately. But I do think they'll spend a decent amount of time trading blows. Griggs can really take it though so I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see him win here. I'm going to take Browne by decision though.

Awesome matchup, both guys are great fighters and this could turn into a slugfest, ill probably take Browne here but Griggs is known for his upsets so I wouldn't count him out here

I think it could go either way but Browne is definitely the favorite.

Fighting in Denver is brutal.

I doubt this makes the main card after browne's last fight performance.

I like Griggs in ths fight, no doubt Browne is a beast, but griggs is a very aggressive fighter, who can take big shots and with his pressure right out the gate he shuould be able to get inside of the taller fighters reach and land his bombs. Also, with his pressure Griggs could wear Browne down quickly who seems to slow towards the end of the first begining of the second. The fIght being in Denver might be the biggest factor, just depends on who took thier training to the higher altitude. Regaurdless there is going to be a huge KO in this fight

I love how the UFC rarely coddles new fighters. This is an extremely tough fight for Griggs, one I don't think he'll be able to win, which is why I think it's a fight put together to develop Browne and maybe give him some more highlight material. Either way, 'twill be highlight material for the fans.
