An injury has forced Erik Koch out of his UFC 143 contenders' match against Dustin Poirier, UFC president Dana White confirmed today. Fellow rising 145er Ricardo Lamas, has stepped up to fill the open slot.

Nice replacement, was kinda hoping for The Korean Zombie but I can't complain with this fight!

Great replacement! Tough fight for both guys. I think Poirer is the next big thing so I'm gonna give him an advantage. I'm a fan of both guys though so either way I'll be happy and sad.

I thought Poirier would have beaten Koch, and I think he'll handle Lamas as well. Agreed that he's the next big thing.

I was really hoping the Korean Zombie would be the replacement, but this is a good scrap too.
EDIT: Just realized I said the same thing as the OP. Get out of my head!!!

I had DDP beating Koch, I still have him beating Lamas, but Lamas is a tough underrated guy.
I think DDP would go through TKZ Jung.
