Following a win over Dustin Pague at this month's The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale, John Albert (7-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) will now face "The Pride of El Salvador," Ivan Menjivar (23-8 MMA, 2-1 UFC).

UFC officials today announced the two will meet at UFC on FUEL TV 1, which takes place Feb. 15 in Omaha, Neb. The 18,000-seat CenturyLink Arena is likely to host.

The Albert vs. Menjivar contest is expected to take place on the evening's preliminary card.

I was literally just rewatching the TUF 14 Finale last night. Albert's performance against Dustin Pague was just a thoroughly dominant display. If I saw him put on a show like that against Menjivar, I would put this guy on the fast track to a title shot.

Having said that, Menjivar is a different class of fighter than Dustin Pague. When I close my eyes, I can still see Menjivar landing a standing elbow and breaking Charlie Valencia's face.

I don't think this will be a one sided affair either way. I believe this is a harder fight for "Prince" Albert though. I think I'm giving the young go-hard more of a chance than most in this one.

Agreed. Menjivar will beat this kid everywhere. I see a Menjivar finish somewhat early.

I think Albert will put up more of a fight than people think but I have to go with Menjivar in this one
