Fedor still is one of the greatest of all time regardless of his recent fights. Maybe he fought too long, age caught up with him, he didnt evolve or the younger generation past him by. He still was the most feared man on the planet for almost a decade. None of the greats have been able to do what he did yet. Some are close and some will eventually pass him by, but none have as of yet.
People don't rate Michael Jordan's or Joe Montana's careers based on their last couple of years playing. They were just legends who played too long. So why do people get on MMA greats when they do it.
Also, you can't compare todays athletes against those of the past. Training, diet, strength, speed, techniques are superior today in every sport compared to the past. The greats helped make the current fighters who they are today.

You're totally right man.
But what you have to remember is that the sport wasn't as big when Fedor was ruling the HW division.
Newer fans only remember the last few years because thats all they've seen (too lazy to watch old fights, do research?)
Its a shame but to many people Brock Lesnar will go down as a better HW champ than Fedor.
