"The Ultimate Fighter 11" veteran Jamie Yager and K-1 kickboxing vet Kultar Gill were among approximately 150 welterweights who attended Monday's open tryout session for "The Ultimate Fighter 15."

Additionally, more than 200 lightweight fighters also attended the all-day session, which aims to secure a cast for the upcoming edition of the reality series, set to begin filming in early 2012.

The prospective cast members gathered at the Fertitta family-owned Texas Station Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas.

I guess you can be on the show twice as a contestant.

I thought there'd be a rule against that.

Kultar Gill. 10 wins. 8 losses. 7 losses by submission. Yikes.

Now, if only Jamie Yager fought as good as his last name tasted....hmmm.

Idk if they would put Yager on the show again, that'd be weird. Give the opportunity to someone else.

I know Joe Lauzon had some guys theres and Jorgenson was tweeting he was there.

to be fair, many fighters mature later in their careers. i see no reason to give someone another shot as long they've fought enough in between stints on the show

Sometimes losses can be good for fighters - Chris Lytle

Who knows, if Jamie is in this season, he might come in with a different attitude. That said, others who applied twice include Jason Guida and he didn't get in!

I'm confused. Why are tryouts being held in Las Vegas for the ultimate fighter if it is going to be in Brazil this season with what i thought to be only Brazilian fighters? Is this gonna be a USA vs Brazil season or am I just missing something?

TUF Brazil is a completely seperate show.

Other notable welterweights included MMA veterans Sam Alvey, Blas Avena, Rudy Bears, Zak Cummings, Jacob McClintock, Leopoldo Serao and Dave Terrel, as well as a host of young prospects who each had to confirm a winning record with promotion officials before entering the actual tryouts.

I think Cummings and McClintock prolly have the best shot out of those few guys listed at least by the way their fighter page looks.
