Former UFC middleweight mauler Nate Quarry states his case on The Underground for the position of "on-air personality," which the promotion may need in light of its recent expansion across three channels on the FOX network. Quarry, famous for his exciting fights and ability to take punishment, might have taken enough beatings to last him a lifetime. Now that he's enjoying retirement and putting more work into his Zombie Cage Fighter line, it looks like he's gunning for another go-round with the world's largest fight promotion.

This is a man who broke his neck (or rather, got his neck broke) for the UFC. He is likable, well spoken, and the perfect personality for this type of work, in my opinion. I think the UFC would do well to bring "The Rock" aboard.

I'd be interested but I don't want to see him against any of the top guys. I love watching Quarry fight, he's got a ton of heart and loves to throw down but he's not in his prime anymore and I don't want to see him lose 2 and get tossed again.

Lol I don't think half of you read the article. He doesn't want to come back to fight, he wants to come back as a commentator.

ive never really thought about him as a commentator. fighters are good for giving the fighters view of a fight but not all fighters can be commentators. i say give him a shot though

Haha I wish I could give negative props to some of you. If Bobby Valentine wants back into MLB does that mean he wants to play first and bat cleanup?

Lol, whoops. I tend to read about 25% of the articles actually posted. The title can usually generate a lot of discussion by itself.
