Mayweather vs Pacqiuao decided that fight. Marquez completely schooled him.

Everyone I was with was waiting on the robbery. Still couldn't believe it when I heard the decision

I haven't seen the fight yet so what am I missing? Pacquiao outlanded Marquez 176 to 138 and outlanded him in power punches 117-100 I see on CompuStrike. One judge scored it a draw and 2 were in Pacquiao's favor. ESPN and Sports Illustrated, 2 major sports outlets both scored it a Draw so also not in Marquez's favor.

None of that make it sound like a robbery, just a close decision. And to reiterate, I haven't seen the fight, so that's why I'd like to hear why there's outrage if Manny outlanded him and major sports outlets also didn't score it for Marquez. What made it a robbery?

I just got done watching it an it was a close fight but its no way the robbery people are making it out to be. I had Pacman winning for his aggression and the fact he was landing more often as well as the bigger shots, but it was close. I've just read somewhere that Pacquiao out landed him in both power shots and punches.

Just a close fight in my opinion.

I think the draw is more justifiable than the win for Pacquiao.

Pac might have landed more in both punches and power shots, but he did basically no damage with them. Marquez never backed up from the big shots from Manny, whereas Manny was backed up a few times by Marquez. Manny was definitely the aggressor in the fight.

If Manny would've mixed it up instead of just head hunting the whole fight, I think he could have won the fight without controversy. He literally threw no body shots, should have had Nick Diaz show him how to do it.

I get the feeling there is a lot of hyperbole being thrown out there surrounding this fight. . . from what I've read it sounded like a close fight, but not the robbery people are making it out to be.

Don't let it go to the judges if you want to leave no doubt. I know that's a lot easier said than done in a boxing match, but they left it for the judges to decide, and the judges decided for Pacquiao.

As far as Pacquaio doing no damage, Marquez was busted up at the end of the fight. So i don't by that at all.

The commentary was extremely Marquez biased, so i suggest scoring the rounds with the sound off, because they make every round seem like it was one-sided.

I had it 6 rounds to 6.

Lederman scored it for pac so how was the hbo broadcast bias? Ha the problem there is lederman always sucks lol

And numbers dont mean shit. Even Freddy roach pacs trainer thought he lost. Marquezs punches were more meaningful. Pacs punches were mostly glancing blows, watching the fight cant i even believe pac landed more.

I didn't get lederman, since i watched it on a stream. Might have been a british broadcast, but what i was listening to made it seem like Marquez won every round.

Haha true except for mike alvarado that prospect who ko'd prescott(Amir Khans daddy) after he took a huge beating! Sick fight.

Also for kpro, its really alot like Sergio Martinez vs paul williams 1,before Martinez took his virginity with one punch in the rematch haha. Williams landed more punches power and overall but the overall concenus is Sergio won because like marquez he landed the shots that snapped pacs head back.
Definitely recommend watching that first Sergio williams fight for those who dont follow boxing but wouldnt mind a damn good scrap in their spare time.

Didn't watch the fights but seeing what Kpro said... I don't understand how it was a robbery. Stop throwing terms around.
A fight like Nam Phan vs. Leonard Garcia is a robbery.

I'm sure Pacquiao vs. Marquez was a close fight just like Edgar vs. Maynard 2, but like i said, i didn't watch it so im just giving my opinion.

I'm not going to comment on the fight, because I haven't seen it, but this statement is ridiculous.

Number of punches landed doesn't mean shit? Wow. How exactly do you score a fight if not from the amount of strikes landed?
