To show he's a consistent fighter Rumble should roll into the weigh ins at about 190.
This could be a fun fight, but I could see Rumble going with the Hardy game plan just like Rabi said as long as he doesn't get KO'd on the way in.
He has to be careful if he goes the Hardy game plan, Belfort has a black belt in BJJ.
IMO, his black belt is a joke.

is there any reason why Rumble, who is nearing top 10 WW, is jumping a weight class?

Could go either way but I think it's a pretty good match-up fpr Rumble with his length and Vitor's tendency to fade after a little bit of grappling.

To me this is a big sign that Rumble isnt that hungry for a championship and more worried about being able to eat....I predict a slow Rumble here...Not very inspired by anything but having a full stomach...

Rumble stated on Twitter that he was asked by "the boss" to fight at 185 against Belfort and that 170 is his "home".

I just read that after the post...it tells me this is a fight that Belfort wont lose since in Brazil..and it wont affect Rumbles status and ranking at Welterweight..
Basically make Belfort look good at home...betting against any brazilian in Brazil...Well thats silly...thata country is just differnet...If you havent seen the documentary The Two Escobars which is in Columbia but its very much the same...

I think either could win by knockout with one punch. If aj mixed in takedowns that's a way to impress instead of lnp decision. Belfort is fast and can catch him so its a close call but don't think it happens aj gets hurt to quick.
