Diego always well, no matter the division. As for becoming champion at Lightweight, wouldn't happen. Diego isn't as quick as he used to be, and wouldn't be able to keep up with Frankie.

Prolly not much better. I think the cut takes a lot out of him and he's a guy where his style is pushing the pace and he needs that energy that he gets at 170.

He seems to be superior skill wise but that weigh cut seemed to drain a lot out of him. I think if he would have stayed put he could definitely be a champion caliber fighter at lightweight. At 170 I think he's undersized.

Not sure what the first sentence of this post means, but I agree with the rest.

I think Diego would be ranked pretty high, and might even be able to get another title shot, but I don't think he would be able to deal with Edgar's speed and cardio for 5 rounds.

I think he would be ranked higher at LW than he is at WW, but I don't see him holding a belt in either division.

i didnt choose any of them. it was kind of a yes or no question. i think he should go back to 155. he does not look good at 170 IMO. id rather see a fit, disciplined Diego than what he looks like at 170 right now.

I selected Frankie Edgar is the man because that is a god damn fact.

As for Diego at 155, I'm down. I still want to see him fight Florian again and 155 is the only place that'll happen. He's had epic fights at both weights though so I'm happy either way.

He's in a Vera situation imo. Diego could beat Frankie but probably wouldnt. Does it matter though? He killed Guida and Guida is somehow now a top contender.....

Frankie i great skillwie to make up for his attributes, maybe the best I've ever een in that way, but he isnt the man the way his cult following makes him out to be. I was among the first of hi nutthuggers but I think the only reaon he won against Sherk was Sherks choice to be a dumbass and strike.

Sherk couldn't get the takedown any one of the times he tried.

I disagree with this. Diego clearly won the first round but Guida came back and in my opinion won the next two rounds and possibly the fight. "Killed" is an exaggeration in my opinion.

Anyway I think Diego is stuck in either division, I don't think he has the tools to be the champ in either division but can make for some exciting fights. I think he would probably be better off at 155 though.

BJ would still beat Diego in one-sided fashion
