"This one actually just fell in place. He was a southie, (like) Cro Cop, and me being a good jiu-jitsu guy, like Nogueira, so it was just a perfect fit,"
"There's nothing strange about it. I think everybody in MMA, paths always cross, especially if you've been in this sport as long as we both have."
"My hair has grown out a little longer. My beard is a little longer. So definitely, we're going to see a different Roy Nelson," he said.

Full Beard quote:
"My hair has grown out a little longer. My beard is a little longer. So definitely, we're going to see a different Roy Nelson. I just want to basically wow people with my beard, so definitely going for that. Everybody always talks about my weight, but that's throughout my whole entire life. It's nothing new. I'm sure everybody is going to talk about my weight next week, and then after my fight, and then my weight after that. It's just because people are mean. To me, I look in the mirror every day, my wife thinks I'm beautiful, so I'm going to say probably not (look different). I hope I just perform better. Looks are in the eye of the beholder."
-Roy Nelson

Roy's looking to add more weapons to his arsenal. Unfortunately, with the good comes the bad.
- He's now the president of the Miguel Torres fan club and must have hand permanently sewed to Torres' junk. - "Gots" will become part of his everyday vocabulary. - He now walks around with an actual horseshoe shoved up his butt.

It's a nice fuzzy target for CC's left shin. Maybe this is the time we will see the old CC and a LHK...
A man can dream can't he?

As much as I like Roy Nelson, I would faint from joy if this happened.

if this is a boring fight again like their last few, i think i will probably be done caring about either one of their future fights and careers. im not hating, im just saying that CC has got to retire some time, and roy nelson cant make a career out of being able to take a beating (he does have the best chin in the division IMO).

Nelson is a good enough fighter to be thought of a more than the decision guy imo. I think CC will offer little offense anyway.

If Cro-Cop is going to be able to get anybody with his kick at this point, it's going to be Nelson.

Fleek I am not trying to start a fight here but I have to say you come awfully close to fighter bashing everytime Frank Mir's name is mentioned. Honestly I don't know how this isn't straight up fighter bashing.

And you are one to talk? Mention Chael Sonnen around you and all you hear is garbage that is way worse than what Emfleek said.

Is it ok to hate on Mir? cause anytime Overeem and Fedor get made fun of, it's bashing.
Mir is not on Miguel's nuts, he as a commentator had a responsibility to comment on how good the lighter-weight fighters are, and how exciting the action is.
Mir likes BJJ, and Torres always got subs and was on a huge win streak, p4p
was and still is a reason to respect Torres, even if he did lose to BB, Javier and mighty mouse.
