The UFC's dismantling of Strikeforce looks to have continued with Tim Kennedy. Kennedy recently added the Ultimate Fighting Championship to his employers on Facebook:
Kennedy could be referencing the fact that the UFC owns Strikeforce, and, by proxy, he's employed by the UFC. But, then again, it seems like a random thing to do seven months after Strikeforce was purchased, no?

Tim Kennedy would be a great addition to the MW division. Actually, I'd be surprised if he wasn't signed by the UFC. He's got tons of heart, he's got good wrestling and solid standup. He could be a contender to Andersons belt if he could string together 2-3 wins. He would have to go through Sonnen, Munoz, Belfort and Maia to get there, but I think he could make things interesting

I wasn't sure I knew this fighter but after looking at his record, I know who he is now and I think he is a ufc caliber fighter. Not championship material, not top 5 either but I think he can crack the top 15.

In the original post it says the the UFC owns Strikeforce, but it's Zuffa, not the UFC, that owns Strikeforce if I'm not mistaken.

Fight Matrix has him ranked at #10. I think that is a bit high considering they have Jacare at #14 and Rockhold at #11. He is a hard-nosed fighter that is well rounded. His fight with Jacare was very close. I would be curious as to who they would put him against first. Eventually I would like to see him beat up Bisping.

FightMatrix is all done through a computer and record based so it's the unbiased rankings the computer came up with. I do know that they weight most recent fight more-so than past fights in their crazy long code of determining rankings. Kennedy beat Lawler in his last and Jacare lost to Rockhold in his most recent. Jacare wins his next fight and he leapfrogs them both I would think for sure even if they also win their next fights.
