Meh idk.
I like the events to be over early when I'm actually home to watch them.
But when I have to work, I dont mind them starting at 9 CT so I can keep up or watch the main card.

I could have easily taken any of your posts and quoted you on it.
10pm is not late. 7pm is not late either Australian guy 7am isn't that bad.
The prelims over here start at 11:15pm on the current time, if you add an hour 00:15am the following morning.
Fight cards for us start at 2am currently, this will increase to 3am.
None of you really have it bad or rough.

If you like this sport don't complain about a 1 hour shift. It does f*ck all to you, imagine having to stay up all night every event just to see a card? And to all those who want to reply saying we stayed up to watch PRIDE/DREAM... UFC is planning on putting what? 32 Events a year on or something? That's nothing to what Pride or DREAM will do.
Stop complaining about going to bed later or it starting too early. 1 Hour is a massive difference... Theres a huge difference between going to bed at 5am and 6am.

How much do you pay for ESPN over there? Certainly you aren't shelling out $100+ per month to watch the UFC on ESPN. Events could start at 5am here, for all I care, if they were to be shown on ESPN like they are across the pond!

Haha you have a point lol, I'd rather pay my £8 per month than like $44.99 per event!

I prefer the later start time, but I'm on the west coast.
I'm always awake late so I wish NFL football started at 1pm like it does for the east coasters instead of having to be up by 10am here. 9am college football on Saturdays is brutal for me.
I'd absolutely trade my 7pm UFC's for 10pm UFC's to get football starting at Noon and 1pm on the weekends instead of 9 and 10am.
I can't even imagine not having football at noon on Sundays, or 11 on Saturdays. My circadian rhythms are permanently set to weekend football at CST.
EDIT: I really liked the earlier start times for the UFC, this is a little disappointing.

Perfect! Bruins games on Saturday nights usually end around 7:45 on the west coast, and UFC begins at 8, i approve.

I think it is awesome to switch back to 7pm works perfect for me since I work til 6pm. But what is funny is I am from the west coast and I flew to toronto for UFC 129 and I sure enjoyed the main card ending before midnight, It gave us more time to go out and have fun.

Sucks for everyone in Europe, cards start around 3 am already, this pretty much ensures that anyone who was barely making it to the pub will definitely *not* now and the pub will likely stop showing them live altogether. Back to DL'ing the next day I guess, no other way to see the fights. All you North Americans need to stop bitching and appreciate what you have, because there are a lot who don't get anything.

I didn't mind having start at 8 p.m. central time. It was nice having it all wrapped up by 11. The only drawback I noticed, was the atmosphere at the bars wasn't as hyped as when the ppv's started at 9. That extra hour of drinking really pays off I guess. It seemed like there were still a lot of families in the bars right before the 8 o'clock start.
I wish there were bars we could go to and watch events in the UK. That would be sweet.
