Tim Credeur (12-4 MMA, 3-2 UFC) has been forced out of this month's UFC 137 event, and promotional newcomer Dustin Jacoby (6-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has stepped in as a replacement against middleweight Brad Tavares (7-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC).

The fighter's reps alerted MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) of the switch overnight. Jacoby and his trainer, Marc Fiore, subsequently announced it via Twitter and Facebook.

UFC 137 takes place Oct. 29 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

UFC officials haven't formally announced the change, and the reason for Credeur's removal wasn't immediately clear.

Jacoby is a 6' 4", 23 year old MW. He hasn't faced anyone with talent but he has finished all 6 of his fights, 5 of them in under 2 and a half minutes.

I still think Tavares will win though and I don't think it lasts long. Tavares has some decent ufc experience and he's training with the much better fighters. He's young and has a lot of potential.

Tavares 1st round tko

It does seem like these guys will slug it out.

Overall though Tavares is better, tougher competition, ufc experience, probably stronger wrestling/ground game.

Tavares TKO or UD.

Yeah its kind of weird to choose this unknown Dustin guy, but maybe Dana White has liked what he has seen. Definitely sucks for Tim, this was his chance to shine and take it to the next level. Gonnna be good though, Taveres should kick ass.
