An undisclosed injury has forced Dave "Pee Wee" Herman out of a UFC 136 bout with Mike Russow, officials today announced.
As a result, a long-awaited rematch between featherweights Leonard Garcia and Nam Phan has taken its spot on the night's pay-per-view main card.
UFC 136 takes place Oct. 8 at Houston's Toyota Center.

just glad to see herman/russow off. not interested in either fighter, and i much rather see pham/garcia or pettis on main card, not to sure why they werent in the first place

Not me. I only order a handful of PPVs each year, the other's I go to the local sports bar and can't watch the prelims on Facebook. lol

The only thing I'm disappointed about is that I don't get to see Herman knock Russow out while smiling :P, like one of the guys above me said were gonna see every fight anyway who cares which fight is where

I read on Twitter today that Herman was scratched due to a failed drug test (THC) that he's disputing.
I'm confused...when did they start testing in the weeks/months leading up to a fight?
EDIT: Nevermind...I was thinking this fight was at 139, not 136. He was being tested by the AC for licensing.

I read Playground's interview of Phan and in one of Phan's responses he said something like, " I am not a main event kind of guy."
